Public Use Computers

The Library has both Internet access computers and non-Internet access public use computers for the publice to use free of charge.

The library has 2 Internet access computers and 2 non-Internet computers for public use.

Instruction for use of the computers is available at most times.  Exception being during programs.

First come, first served availability.  If computers are being used for entertainment purposes (games)  and a user needs them for other purposes, the first user can "be bumped".  Time limits are set only when there is a waiting line.

Children under 18 are required to have a signed parental consent for on file at the library.  A parent or legal guardian is required to come to the library and read the form with the child, and both must sign and date it.  This form is kept at the library.

All adults are requested to read all of our policy information especially the sections on what is legal and not legal to do on the Internet at a public library ie. conduct business via the library computer and information concerning the viewing of pornography.

Also this library has restrictions as to the use of E-mail accounts and instant messaging.  Those policies can also be viewed at the library.

The library also has 2 computers that do not have Internet access and these computers can be used for word processing and also have games for children and adults to play.

Complete policy for use and be seen at the library.
