Your Library Card

Who can get a library card, how to apply, and how to use your library card.

Library cards are applied for at the library during library hours. Applicants are given a number and that number is used to check out all library materials.  No physical card is given unless one is needed for open access and then an open access card is issued.

If you are new to the area a picture id and two references with listed phone numbers (not cell phone)  are required.

Newcomers are restricted to 2 items per household for 90 days, and items must be checked out and returned  (on time) during that 90 days.  DVD's have special check-out restrictions, see policy at library.

Children under 7 years are on the "family" card and 7 and up  may have their own card, but parents are responsible for lost and/or damaged materials.

All policies concerning checking out materials, etc. are availalbe for viewing at the library.
