Ionia Community Library News DVD COLLECTION

We are adding to our growing collection of DVD's every month.  We have more than 200 currently and we must be making good selections as our circulation is doing very  well.

Our policy on DVD check out is:

DVDs can be checked out by children with a signed parent consent form which is noted in computer.

The check out period is 1 week.

For the first 60days only 1 DVD can be checked out per household.  After that 60 days if regular check outs have been made and the DVD and case returned in good condition user will be permitted 2 DVDs per check out, however they can not both be brand new DVDs. The check out period for all DVDs is 1 week.

DVD's must be returned to the desk not to the drop box.

All DVD's are checked for condition before leaving the library and upon their return.  Damage will noted on each item inside the case.  When a a DVD is returned with damage the condition will be checked with the noted damage and the current user will be held responsible for any change.

Lost DVD's or cases must be replaced by user before further check outs can be made to that household.

We still have a few favorite VCR/Videos also and they have unlimited check outs and can be checked out for 2 weeks.
